Getting to Nivar
Flights
Nivar is less than half an hour from Granada Airport.
Granada can be reached with Monarch and Ryanair from Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and Liverpool. Easyjet is also planning services from Bristol.
Iberia also fly to Granada from Gatwick and Heathrow via Madrid.
You can also fly to Malaga and Almeria which are about an hour and a half away from Nivar.
Car Hire

Buses
Buses go from Granada airport to the centre of Granada at a cost of 3 euro.
A Taxi to Nivar will cost around 15 euro from Granada and 30 euro from Granada airport.
Buses from Nivar go to Granada every hour or so for those who do not wish to brave the Granada traffic or the increasingly car free centre. This is also a good way of mixing with the locals and experiencing the Spanish way of life!

There is a ski bus in winter from the bus station in Granada at 8am and 10am.
By Boat
You can take a ferry from Portsmouth/Plymouth to Bilbao/Santander with Brittany/P & O Ferries.
The ferry takes about 24 hours.
The drive across Spain takes a further day and a half.
